Overspeed Safety Lock
The overspeed safety lock operates automatically. It essentially consists of a clamping jaw mechanism and a centrifugal governor, which continuously monitors the speed of the wire rope passing through the LSL. The jaw mechanism automatically clamps onto the wire rope when a sudden speed increase occurs.
